Our Commitment to Excellence

The goal of our project is to acquire distressed properties within low-income neighborhoods, revitalize them through comprehensive renovations, and then offer these upgraded units as affordable rental housing for families and individuals who are struggling to find suitable living arrangements. By revitalizing existing structures, we aim to preserve the historical and cultural aspects of the neighborhoods while enhancing living conditions.

Whether it is from discriminatory practices, low income, disabilities or the lack thereof, URBN MANSION project opens the way for affordable housing, transitional living facilities, halfway housing and basic shelter for people in need.

We also help existing homeowners convert dormant space, such as attics, basements and garages, into affordable living space in underserved communities.

With  sustainable living we work to enhance awareness and involvement in sustainable practices that will help communities thrive and grow. 

      In addition to sustainable practices we focus on the  most vital  elements of our communities which are the youth, those aging out of foster care and also innovative minds returning to society from incarceration. In this respect having structure and being integrated  into a productive community base is vital.

Sustainable living as part of youth empowerment and reentry programs will help people learn new skills, develop greater awareness of green initiatives.

Sustainable living is a lifestyle that enriches the community through mindful awareness in the use of natural and personal resources, our social interaction and how we relate to our environment. The  practice of sustainable living will provide  structure and a greater sense of being part of the community. Helping people better understand how to meet the demands of everyday life without compromising nor hindering others and future generations in their ability to thrive and grow.

A sustainable community is one that is economically, environmentally and socially healthy. In such an atmosphere a person will learn new methods of approaching challenges, through integrated solutions as opposed to fragmented and temporary fixes at the expense of others.

For communities not so healthy and resilient, bringing the idea and practice of sustainable living to them will reciprocate the wealth of creativity and empowerment within the community.

Objectives:

1. Acquire Distressed Properties: Utilizing the funds, we will identify and purchase distressed properties that are suitable for renovation and located in areas with a high demand for affordable housing.

2. Renovate and Upgrade: The acquired properties will undergo thorough renovations, addressing structural, electrical, plumbing, and safety issues. We will also focus on energy-efficient upgrades to reduce long-term operating costs.

3. Affordable Rental Units: After renovation, the properties will be converted into affordable rental units, with a focus on maintaining competitive rental rates that are within the means of low to moderate-income families.

4. Community Involvement: Our initiative will actively engage with local communities, involving them in the decision-making process, and considering their input regarding property selection, design, and allocation of housing units.

5. Sustainable Approach: We will incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices throughout the renovation process, aiming to minimize our carbon footprint and promote eco-conscious living.
